Shark Fin was founded in 2022 by Alexander Schaper. One day, my friend and I were inspired by a clothing company also made by a kid. It wasn't a random idea in my brain we had just had an assembly where the owner of a certain company I won't say for obvious reasons came to our school and taught us how inspiration was. That's just when it hit me... If he can start a company, why can't we? I needed a sleek modern name for my company. Something that would catch the eyes of people seeking new fashion. I decided on "Fin" first. It was perfect! It was just one problem. Whatever website we used to pitch our company all denied us saying our brand was too short. It stumped me for a while until I thought "Well what animal has a fin?... That's it! A shark!" Hence explaining the name "Shark Fin" After a while I finally hired my first employees, they were really my friends who were excited about making clothes and starting a business but still the best employees anyone can ask for. They all use 101% of their brain power to come up with more clothing ideas. This was all fun and games until it came to shipping and actually having the clothes produced. We didn't know what to do and we were all so lost. Our old designs I can comfortably say that they were less than creative... We ended up abandoning the company until I realized the absolute potential of starting a business. Since we were much older now, we learned how to make a website, make clothing, have everything manufactured and shipped. That is Shark Fin's story. We sell mostly hoodies with cool designs.
